This printing system is faster and less expensive than other self-publishing methods. We can get your book into print in a few weeks, and in some cases days.
Prices for Self-publishing
Prices begin at $175 for your first 10 copies (more for 8.5x11-inch books or books longer than 200 pages) and decrease after that. Also for additional cost, we offer different-weight papers, linen-finish covers, full-color covers, photos or illustrations in the text, help in formatting or editing your manuscript and cover design. Color graphics in the text are now available.

Print-on-demand Publishing Capabilities
Because we are print-on-demand publishing, you can place a small order to start with, ordering more books as you need them instead of having to order hundreds at once.
Books by Mode prints books one at a time. We do not use mass production methods and cannot do everything the large commercial publishers and design houses do. We do not market or distribute books, but we can help you get an ISBN number and bar code so that you can market your books yourself, if that is your intent. Many authors use this self-publishing system to give their books to family and friends, or to show agents or editors in hopes of securing a deal with a commercial publisher.
